Commentsmy great grandmother was Rebecca Piha (maiden name Varon) born in Turkey. Rebbeca married Jakob Piha. Growing up I was told that we were distant cousins of Neil Sedaka. Supposedly my greatgrandmother Rebecca and his grandmother were first cousins. That is the only information I know about them. I had an greatuncle Morris Piha who reverted back to my greatgrandmothers last name and was know as Morris Varon. He moved to California in the late 60's his wife (also named) Rebecca still livest there with my cousins Rhonda and Debra Varon. My great grandparents also had 3 more children Lucy who is still alive and my grandmother Regina (who passed away many many years before I was born.
