I have been doing some genealogical research on both my father's and mother's side. My mother was born Sadaka or Sedaka or Sedacca.

I would like to know if any of your members ever came across people with the family names of Varon or Sadaka (or variations thereof) in Egypt. Last year I came across a list of members of community organizations in Egypt around 1920, among whom was a Sadaka or Sedaka; I also saw a document mentioning a Varon

who came to Egypt from Turkey, got married and stayed there. In other words, there is evidence of presence; I am not on a totally blind fishing expedition.
