Egypt's Ambassador to the United Nations, Ahmed Abul Gheit, Visit to the Center of Jewish History

On June 15, 2004 a meeting was held with Ambassador Ahmed Ali Abul Gheit, Egypt's Ambassador to the United Nations, at the Center of Jewish History in New York.
Attending the Meeting were:

Ambassador Ahmed Ali Abul Gheit, his wife Laila (in red)
Mr. David Ribacoff Member of the Executive Board of the American Sephardi Federation, and his wife Lizette (nee) Nissim
Ms. Alessandra Rovati, (in crutches) Center for Jewish History
Ms. Esme E. Berg, Director of the American Sephardi Federation
Mr. Peter Geffen Executive Director for the Center of Jewish History
Mr. Desire Sakkal President of the Historical Society of Jews From Egypt.

Mr. Randal Belinfante (Librarian)

On July 11, Ambassador Ahmed Abul Gheit was named Egypt's Foreign Minister.
