On July 25, 1997 the HSJE has honored Dr. Ada Aharoni
"for her devoted and unmatched efforts to promote the history of the Jews From Egypt through her visionary literature and poetry proclaiming peace in the world."
The ceremony took place at the Magen David Synagogue of West Deal NJ, and was attended by 96 community members. Also in attendance was Rabbi Labaton rabbi of the congregation.
